The eligible purchase must be for the supply and installation of the solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system at the residential address stated on the participant’s invoice.

The system must be supplied and installed by the Promoter.

All seven requirements must be satisfied before the Promotion closes.

If any of these requirements have not been satisfied by 9:00 am on 23 December 2026, the purchase will not qualify for entry.

  1. WHAT DOES NOT QUALIFY AS AN ENTRY

For the avoidance of doubt, the following do not constitute an eligible entry by themselves:

    • requesting a quotation;
    • receiving a quotation;
    • accepting a quotation;
    • making an enquiry;
    • signing a contract;
    • paying a deposit;
    • making a part-payment;
    • receiving finance approval;
    • submitting a finance application;
    • having an installation booked or scheduled;
    • commencing an installation that has not been completed;
    • having an invoice issued but not paid in full; or
    • purchasing a system that has not been supplied and installed by the Promoter.

The participant must satisfy all applicable purchase, supply, installation, invoicing and payment requirements before the Promotion closes.

  1. HOW TO ENTER

Each eligible completed purchase that satisfies all requirements of these Rules will receive one entry into the promotion.

There is no separate entry fee for the promotion.

Entry is obtained through the purchase of the eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system at its normal retail value after any government rebate.

A participant may receive more than one entry if they make multiple separate eligible purchases during the Promotion Period, provided that each separate purchase independently satisfies all requirements of these Rules.

A participant may win only one prize in this promotion.

  1. PAYMENT IN FULL

The eligible purchase must be paid in full before the Promotion closes.

For the purposes of these Rules, “paid in full” means that the full amount payable to the Promoter for the eligible supply and installation has been received by the Promoter, subject to the specific provisions applying to financed purchases.

A deposit or part-payment does not constitute payment in full.

Where payment is made by electronic transfer, payment will be considered received when the funds have been received and cleared into the Promoter’s nominated account.

Where payment is made by credit card or another payment method, payment will be considered received subject to the Promoter’s normal payment processing and settlement procedures.

  1. FINANCED PURCHASES

Customers who purchase an eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system using an approved finance arrangement may participate in the promotion.

For a financed purchase, the purchase will be considered paid in full to the Promoter when the Promoter has received the full amount payable to the Promoter under the relevant invoice through the applicable finance arrangement.

The fact that the homeowner continues to owe money to a finance provider does not, by itself, prevent the purchase from being considered paid in full for the purposes of these Rules.

However, the Promoter must have received the full amount payable to it for the eligible supply and installation before the Promotion closes.

The prize for a financed purchase will be dealt with in accordance with clause 15 of these Rules.

Finance interest, establishment fees, account fees, late fees and other charges payable to a finance provider are not included in the Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost unless expressly stated otherwise in these Rules.

Any finance arrangement remains subject to the finance provider’s approval and applicable terms and conditions.

  1. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT

The eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system must be supplied and installed by the Promoter at the residential property identified on the relevant invoice.

The installation must be completed before the Promotion closes.

An installation that is incomplete at the closing time does not qualify for entry.

If the installation is delayed, postponed or otherwise not completed before the closing time, the purchase will not qualify for entry.

Where the Promoter uses a contractor or subcontractor to carry out installation work on its behalf, the installation will be treated as an installation by the Promoter for the purposes of these Rules.

  1. INVOICE REQUIREMENT

The Promoter must have issued an invoice for the eligible supply and installation before the Promotion closes.

The invoice must identify, or otherwise allow the Promoter to identify:

    • the homeowner;
    • the residential installation address;
    • the eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system;
    • the amount payable; and
    • the Promoter.

The Promoter’s records will be used to verify the relevant invoice and the amount paid by the participant.

  1. PRIZE

    There will be one (1) winner.

    The winner will receive a prize equal to 100% of the Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost paid by the winning homeowner towards the supply and installation of the eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system, up to a maximum prize value of $20,000 (including GST).

    Where the winner’s Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost is less than $20,000, the winner will receive an amount equal to the actual Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost.

    Where the winner’s Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost is $20,000 or more, the maximum prize payable will be $20,000.

    For example:

    • If the winner’s Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost is $12,000, the prize will be $12,000.

    • If the winner’s Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost is $18,500, the prize will be $18,500.

    • If the winner’s Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost is $20,000, the prize will be $20,000.

    • If the winner’s Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost is $25,000, the prize will be limited to $20,000.

    The maximum total prize value for this promotion is $20,000.

    The prize will be calculated strictly in accordance with the definition of Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost contained in these Rules.

    The Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost does not include:

    • government rebates;

    • government incentives;

    • subsidies;

    • Small-scale Technology Certificates or similar benefits;

    • rebates or incentives claimed or received by the Promoter;

    • finance interest;

    • finance establishment fees;

    • finance account fees;

    • finance late-payment fees;

    • amounts paid to third parties; or

    • any other amount that was not actually paid by the homeowner to the Promoter towards the eligible supply and installation.

    The prize is not transferable except where required by law.

  2. ELIGIBLE OUT-OF-POCKET COST

For the purposes of this promotion, “Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost” means the amount actually paid by the winning homeowner to the Promoter towards the supply and installation of the eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system at the residential address stated on the relevant invoice.

The Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost does not include:

    • any government rebate;
    • government incentive;
    • subsidy;
    • Small-scale Technology Certificate or similar benefit;

    • incentive claimed or received by the Promoter;
    • amount paid by a government body or other third party;
    • finance interest;
    • finance establishment fees;
    • finance account fees;
    • finance late-payment fees;
    • amounts paid to a finance provider rather than the Promoter;
    • amounts paid to third parties rather than the Promoter; or
    • any other amount that was not actually paid by the homeowner to the Promoter towards the eligible supply and installation.

For clarity, the prize is based on the homeowner’s actual eligible out-of-pocket payment to the Promoter and does not include any associated rebate claimed or received by the Promoter in connection with supplying and installing the system.

  1. REBATES, GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES AND OTHER BENEFITS

Any rebate, incentive, subsidy, certificate or other financial benefit associated with the eligible system that is claimed, received or retained by the Promoter is excluded from the calculation of the prize.

The winner will not receive a prize calculated on an amount that was not actually paid by the homeowner towards the eligible supply and installation.

If an amount has been deducted from the homeowner’s invoice because of a rebate, incentive or other benefit claimed by the Promoter, that amount will not form part of the Eligible Out-of-Pocket Cost.

  1. PRIZE FOR FINANCED PURCHASES

Where the winning purchase was financed, the maximum prize payable is $20,000  will first be applied towards the outstanding finance balance associated with the eligible solar photovoltaic system and/or battery system.

The prize will not be paid to the winner as unrestricted cash while an outstanding finance balance relating to the eligible purchase remains payable, unless otherwise permitted by the applicable finance arrangement and agreed by the relevant finance provider.

The Promoter may pay the applicable prize amount directly to the relevant finance provider for the purpose of reducing or paying out the finance balance.

If the prize amount exceeds the outstanding finance balance, any remaining amount will be paid to the winner, subject to verification and applicable law.

The winner may be required to provide evidence of the outstanding finance balance before the prize is awarded.
