Cherrybrook’s leafy streets and established homes are a great fit for solar, as long as the system is designed properly. Innovate Electrical and Solar designs and installs solar panels and home batteries for Cherrybrook homes, with every job carried out by our own SAA-accredited electricians.
Solar panel installation designed around Cherrybrook’s trees
As a local solar installer, we look after solar panel installation in Cherrybrook from the first roof inspection to switch-on. Tall gums and mature gardens can shade parts of a roof at different times of day. Before recommending a system, we inspect your roof, map where the shade falls and look at your power bills. That lets us place panels where they’ll actually produce, and choose an inverter setup that copes with partial shading instead of losing output across the whole system.
The photo above shows one of our recent Cherrybrook installs, with the array run along the roof ridge. See more local work on our solar page.
Home batteries in Cherrybrook
A battery stores the solar power you don’t use during the day so you can run the house on it at night. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discounts eligible systems, and we’ll show exactly what applies to you on your quote. We install GoodWe, Sigenergy, Fox ESS, Sungrow, Anker Solix and Tesla batteries. Learn more about batteries.
Electrical work for Cherrybrook homes
Older switchboards often need an upgrade before solar or a battery goes in, and we handle that in-house along with lighting, rewiring, smoke alarms and repairs. See our electrical services.
Recent Cherrybrook job
14.1kW solar + 49.92kWh GoodWe battery, Cherrybrook
Another very happy returning homeowner. We originally installed their system 7 years ago, and once it had well and truly paid for itself, the home was ready for a renewable energy upgrade. The new system has 30 × Jinko 470W panels, a GoodWe ESA 10kW three-phase inverter and 6 × GoodWe 8.32kWh battery modules (49.92kWh total), plus partial-home backup to keep essential parts of the home powered during an outage.
