Innovate Electrical and Solar began in 2010 as a local electrical business. Our founder, David, had already spent more than seven years in the industry. From day one he built the business around a clear commitment: exceptional service, high-quality workmanship, and treating every customer with honesty and respect.

We’re proud of the highly skilled, experienced electricians who make up our teams. They take the time to understand what each customer needs, offer practical solutions, and approach every job with care and attention to detail.

Our early years were built around large-scale new-build projects, where we were engaged as the head electrical contractor for apartment and townhouse developments, retail stores and new residential construction across Sydney. We were responsible for the complete electrical installation, from initial planning and coordination through to final completion and compliance.

Working on projects of this scale required detailed planning, close coordination with builders and other trades, strict adherence to construction schedules, and a high level of attention to compliance and quality throughout every stage of the build.

This experience established the standards we continue to uphold today: careful planning, quality workmanship, technical expertise and a commitment to delivering work that stands the test of time.

When we expanded into solar installation within our first four years, we brought the same high standards and attention to detail to every project. That approach quickly earned the confidence of two of Australia’s major electricity retailers, who selected Innovate as an exclusive installation partner, carrying out solar installations on their behalf and representing their brands in their customers’ homes.

Over the years, we’ve completed more than 9,500 solar and battery installations across Sydney, building a reputation for high-quality workmanship, compliance and professional service.

Today, we bring that depth of experience and expertise directly to homeowners and businesses across Sydney. The knowledge and standards developed through years of large-scale electrical projects and more than 9,500 solar and battery installations now go into every system we deliver.

Our own electricians and accredited solar and battery installers manage every stage of the process in-house, from the initial consultation and system design through to installation and ongoing support. This means our customers have direct access to experienced electrical and solar professionals who understand the technical requirements of each project and take responsibility for the quality of the work from start to finish.
